Family Date Night at Mee Heng Low Noodle House
Last Saturday we decided to have a family date night at Mee Heng Low Noodle House.
Ah, the object of my affection. I’m talking about the blurry girl in the background, not the water.
It’s a mystery how my string ends up tucked in my hoodie. It’s not something I do on purpose. I swear.
Evy acting normal. She’ going to make a perfect middle child. Because, seriously, the middle one is always the weirdo.
Trust me, she did it first. Yeah, I copy the behavior of a nine year old.
The food arrives. Low Mein with beef and plum sauce. Hmm, my favorite!
“Wow! This is a long noodle!” In five or so years I won’t have to bite my tongue with the “that’s what she said” jokes, but for now Coral and I just say, as enthusiastically as we can, “Yeah, it is!”
James can’t help but pose whenever I point the camera at him. I don’t how many more hours I need to have my camera in his face before he starts to not notice it.
Coral masterfully works the chopsticks with a skill equal to that of Master Shifu.
