Yes, I Can Survive In Prescott Arizona And Here’s The Proof
Some people visit a town and hit all the tourist attractions. Places like The Museum Of Local Rocks Found In The River Down The Street or The Museum Of Indigenous People That White Settlers Attempted Genocide On or whatever. Well, not me. I didn’t even go to the Louve when I was in Paris. Instead I seek out the things that really matter to me. You know, the things I need to survive. Yes, that means Thai iced tea and donuts. By day two in Prescott I found both. Unfortunately, the two items were not in the same location, but I’m not complaining. It just means that there is a business idea just waiting to pop here in Prescott.
First, The Prescott Donut Factory. This place is T A S T Y! James and I ditched the girls and went to enjoy donuts by ourselves. They close at 2pm and by the time we got there they were sold out, but had made another small batch of donuts. No raised chocolate, so I skipped, but James got something with sprinkles on it. When we got back in the car I asked James how it was and he said I HAD to go back in and get one. I listened and I’m glad I did. A cake donut is something I never order, but that was the only choice I had, so I went with a chocolate frosted one with chocolate sprinkles. OH MY GOD. It was so fresh it was still warm. The outer layer was slightly crispy and the inside was warm and soft. It was super delicious. I am very anxious to go back and get my beloved raised chocolate.
Second, my Thai iced tea. Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of it or the place I got it. I don’t even know the name of the place, but I will say this, it was legit! All the Thai iced tea that flows into my system is judged based on the Thai tea from Sunshine Donuts, which is my favorite in SLO. This one passed the test and I will definitely get another cup or four before we leave this town.
As a bonus we also found an In-N-Out.
So yeah, I can totally survive here.

Hey Jeff – why you in Prescott? My wife goes to school at Prescott College. You should check out Raven Cafe if you already haven’t….

What a great write up on our shop! 😉 I hope you got to try the chocolate raised. So you know, I am reasearching Thai iced tea so it may be here the next time you roll through town. Thx for visiting and for the kind words!
i did! and it was great! thanks for the yummy treats and good luck with the thai tea. some people love it and some don’t, but the ones that do REALLY do, so you could be onto something with it.
