I paint phone cases. If you would like your phone case painted it is $60 and you provide the case. Drop it off at the gallery or mail it in. I will ship to any US address.

Yes, it’s that simple.

Of course, there are a few things to keep in mind when getting a hand painted phone case. The plastic ones are best, not the soft rubber type. Also, a cell phone is something you carry in your pocket or your purse and if you are anything like me it spends a lot of time in your hands. In other words, there is no guarantee that the artwork will last forever. When I finish painting the phone case I put three coats of a protective clear gloss varnish over the surface. This helps quite a bit, but your case can only smack against your keys so many times before the keys finally leave a mark. On the other hand, some people love the worn in and beat up look.

I will take some “loose” direction when it comes to commission work. For example, if you don’t like the color green let me know and I will be sure not to use it. If you want a realistic portrait of your cat, I’m the wrong guy. So far, all of the phone cases I’ve painted I have been given free reign to do whatever I wanted, which, in a way, is a dream come true for any creative person.
