I’m taking a little bit of a shortcut this week by posting this video. I was all set up to take photos of a few select pages out of this book, but then I remembered I made this video awhile back. Anyway, this is my seventh sketchbook. A friend showed me his recycled paper sketchbook and I thought it was awesome. Not for any saving the world reasons, but because I had been drawing on white for so many years. Now I was able to draw with white, which was a whole new experience. This may very well be my favorite sketchbook I’ve ever done. I tried my best to make every drawing worthy enough to rip out of the book and put in a frame to hang on a wall. Of course, I will never let any of these pages get ripped out, but that was the goal I was shooting for.
